One of the largest business law news stories has to do with the charges that have been made against the company, Intel, by the Federal Trade Commission. Law news organizations felt the need to heavily report this story because it is not everyday that the Federal Trade Commission files its own charges against a company. Law news sources know that there is always a possibility to get business law news stories such as this, but that never seemed to suppress the astonishment by the law news circle. Nevertheless, every time the business law news stories does contain charges that have been made by the FTC, the law news sources are sure to report this breaking news.

1. Business law news has reported that the charges by the Federal Trade Commission against Intel come by way of the accusation of monopoly. The law news circuit says that Intel is being accused by the FTC of carrying out unfair methods to their fellow competitors. The law news circuit reports that the FTC alleges that Intel, the company that specializes in the making of computer chips, has been partaking in this type of behavior for a period of ten years. The business law news stories are stating that the FTC states that they specifically carried out this type of behavior in order to create this monopoly.

2. The law news circuit is somewhat taken aback by such strong allegations. Some of the law news sources state that the FTC must have had some pretty compelling evidence in order to make such allegations. This business law news story comes just a short time after the computer chip maker, Intel, had been named in a major lawsuit just recently. The law news circuit was not expecting the next set of reports to wind up with such strong allegations from the FTC. The law news sources are well aware that there is more information that is bound to come out when such a large company is named in a major lawsuit, but there is always going to be that element of surprise for most.

3. The lawsuit to which the business law news stories had recently reported on had named the company, Intel, in the submission of bribes. The business law news stories had reported that the Attorney General of New York, Andrew Cuomo, had filed a lawsuit against Intel, alleging that the company had paid billions in dollars of bribes. The business law news stories said that the Attorney General of New York alleges that Intel had paid these billions of dollars in bribes to hardware makers in order to maintain the monopoly in the market over their competitors.
